HB 80 amends
Code Section 49-4-23 of the O.C.G.A. to establish the Child Support Cooperation
Act of 2019 which establishes state enforcement mechanisms for parents paying
child support to dependents, as authorized by federal law. The legislation
requires providers to comply with child support programs as a necessary
condition of the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) in order to
reduce child poverty. |
